Canyon High School Vandalized
SANTA CLARITA — Vandals caused $2,600 in damage at Canyon High School this weekend when they broke windows and doors and stole the coin box from a vending machine, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said.
Lt. Daniel Castillo of the Santa Clarita Valley station said the damage was discovered by a janitor late Saturday. Castillo said a coin box from a soft-drink vending machine containing an unknown amount of change was taken.
The investigation is continuing.
