Weighty Argument Works Against Cigar

I’m really disappointed in Jim Murray. Cigar, athlete of the year? You’ve got to be kidding. What has Cigar done that is so great? How much weight has he carried? Did he ever run off and hide from the opposition as did Secretariat or Man O’ War?
Beating the same horses over and over at the same weight by a fifth of a second is not great.
