Four-Star Films : ‘Hannah and Her Sisters’
- Share via
Beautiful and brimming with love, Woody Allen’s 1986 film is perfection. It’s one of Allen’s very best, revealing emotional complexity of both range and depth. Funny and touching, the film is set deep in the lives of a vibrant family whom we follow from Thanksgiving to Thanksgiving over a two-year period. At its heart are three sisters: the sustaining Mia Farrow, the stunning Barbara Hershey and the skittish Dianne Wiest (from left) (Bravo Sunday at 10:30 a.m.).
