Villa Park, Jr.

DeVera went 54-0 in dual matches, led the Spartans to the Southern Section Division II team title, won her third Century League singles title and capped her season by reaching the section individual singles finals.

NATALIE EXON

Singles

Woodbridge, Jr.

Exon advanced to the Southern Section individual singles tournament for the first time, then upset two higher-seeded players to reach the semifinals, where she lost to Faye DeVera in two tough sets.

NINA VAUGHAN

Singles

Corona del Mar, So.

A Times Orange County first-team selection for the second consecutive year, Vaughan finished 56-7 in dual matches, won the Sea View League singles title and reached the Southern Section individual semifinals.

SUE GARDINER

Villa Park

In two years, Gardiner has led the Spartans to a 35-2 record and two Century League titles. Villa Park won its last three matches on games, including its upset of Laguna Beach in the Southern Section Division II finals.

Doubles Dana Hills

Selected Times’ all-county for second time, Johnson and Tierney won second South Coast doubles title and advanced to section individual doubles semifinals.

ALISSA SCOTT (Sr.), MEGAN WACHTLER (Sr.)

Doubles Corona del Mar

Wachtler went 51-9 in singles, Scott, 45-12. Together, they won the Sea View doubles title and reached the section doubles semifinals for a second time.

VANESSA GODBEY (Jr.), KATIE CANRIGHT (Jr.)

Doubles Newport Harbor

Godbey went 37-11 in singles, Canright, 42-9. Together, they won two of three sets against section champion Peninsula and reached section individual quarterfinals.
