Concordia Men Beat Pacific Christian by 43

IRVINE — Concordia scored 56 points in the first half and went on to rout Pacific Christian, 104-61, Thursday night in a nonconference men’s basketball game.
Center Jeff Putnam led the Eagles, scoring 21 points in 24 minutes, connecting on 10 of 13 shots from the field, and grabbing six rebounds. Reserve Tarik James scored 19 points, including two three-pointers, and added seven rebounds and five steals.
Six players scored in double figures for Concordia (4-2), which shot 53% from the field. Pharoah Jones scored 13; Frank Waldschmitt, Danny Barajas and Jaime Jaquez added 11.
