Holiday Closings

Today is Thanksgiving Day. The following schedule will apply today and Friday in observance of the holiday:
* All city, county, state and federal offices will be closed.
* County, state and federal courthouses will be closed.
* City and county libraries will be closed.
* Banks and savings and loans will be closed today and reopen Friday.
* Schools: There will be no classes. School offices, including those at colleges and universities, will be closed.
* Mail: There will be no mail delivery today. Post offices will be closed.
* Trash: There will be no trash pickup by city or county refuse workers today. Trash pickups will be a day late for the rest of the week, with the exceptions of Anaheim, Brea, Garden Grove, Placentia and Yorba Linda. In those cities, only residents with a Thursday trash pickup schedule will be pushed back one day.
* Buses: Orange County Transportation Authority buses will run on the holiday schedule today. The regular schedule resumes Friday.
* Parks: All city- and county-run parks and recreation facilities will be open during regular hours today and Friday.
