Auto Expo Stores’ Closure Idles 150 Workers

FOUNTAIN VALLEY — Auto Expo, an Orange County auto parts retailer with stores in Fountain Valley, Fullerton and San Bernardino, has closed, leaving 150 employees without jobs, the company’s attorney said.
Auto Expo, which closed the stores Sunday, has hired Burbank-based Credit Managers Assn. of California to sell the company’s inventory, attorney Bennett Spiegel said.
Owners of the 3-year-old company “reached a conclusion that the business was not viable,” Spiegel said.
