View Tech Inc. Reports Net Loss of $155,000

View Tech Inc., a Camarillo designer and installer of video communications systems, had a net loss of $155,000, or 5 cents a share, on sales of $1.7 million in the three months ended Sept. 30.
In the same period last year, View had a profit of $69,000, or 4 cents a share, on sales of $1.4 million.
The company attributed its loss in the latest quarter to costs related to expanding its sales operation nationwide.
Earlier this month, View announced that it had signed a letter of intent to acquire Power-Data Services Inc., a designer of computer network-related products in Dallas, for cash and stock worth a total of about $10 million.
