Arnold Schwarzenegger, Maria Shriver and a philanthropic couple from Beverly Hills were honored Thursday at St. John’s Hospital and Health Center in Santa Monica for their contribution to the rebuilding of the hospital’s earthquake-damaged perinatal center.
The event was a thank you for the $3-million donation that Soni and Hobart McAlister gave the hospital last year for the new center. Shriver coordinated a fund-raiser in conjunction with the release of the movie “Junior.”
