U.S. Troops in Bosnia

Our President, senators and representatives ought to read the article by Henry Kissinger (Opinion, Oct. 22), “Does the Administration Have a Clear Purpose?” before they take a position on sending U.S. troops to Bosnia.
There is no point in sending the men unless it is known what their objectives will be, and it is determined that they will persist in carrying out their mission regardless the time it takes and the obstacles they encounter.
