Chad Flick
Rancho Santiago, Sophomore
Football/Tight End
Flick, from Rancho Buena Vista High, spent much of last season polishing his blocking skills. Rancho Santiago had a talented pool of running backs and Flick caught only 10 passes. This season the Dons prefer the pass, and the 6-foot-6 Flick is the primary target. He had six catches, three for touchdowns, as Rancho Santiago beat Pasadena, 31-13, Saturday. He has nine touchdown catches this season, which ties the Dons’ single-season record.
Football
Mike Jacot
* Fullerton, sophomore. He rushed for a career-high 167 yards in 25 carries and scored a touchdown in Fullerton’s 41-37 loss to Golden West.
