SIMI VALLEY : Hearing Scheduled on Rape Charge

A judge has scheduled a hearing for Nov. 16 to determine whether a 27-year-old Simi Valley man should stand trial on charges of raping a 14-year-old girl and sexually molesting three other teen-agers.
Victor Manuel Becerra pleaded not guilty to three counts of rape and three related felony charges earlier this week.
Becerra allegedly hung out with teen-age girls at local Family Fun Zone, 7-Eleven and Circle K stores. Investigators believe some of the incidents occurred in June and continued until one of the victims complained to police in October.
Becerra remains jailed in lieu of $50,000 bail.
