MOORPARK : ‘Trick-or-Treat Village’ to Open

The city of Moorpark’s annual Halloween party and “trick-or-treat village” will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the Arroyo Vista Recreation Center in Moorpark.
A costume contest will be held at 1 p.m. Other activities include carnival games, a jack-o’-lantern contest, treats and surprises. The event is supported by Girl Scout Troop 916, Moorpark Kiwanis, and other community groups and businesses.
Although admission is free, the suggested donation is a can of food to be given by the Moorpark Kiwanis to the Food Pantry.
