Clifford Robinson made two free throws with 1.5 seconds to play Saturday night to give the Portland Trail Blazers a 110-109 victory over the Lakers in the championship game of the GTE Everything Pages Shootout before 10,231 at the Forum.
Cedric Ceballos had a game-high 29 points for the Lakers.
In the consolation game, Minnesota beat Dallas, 104-102.
Three members of the locked-out referees’ union--Ed Middleton, Bill Spooner and Greg Willard--picketed one of the entrances to the Forum parking lot. Replacement officials worked the games.
