It’s a Great Way to Not See a Game

After experiencing the brilliance of the Baseball Network for the last few weeks, I have a question. Will the World Series actually be televised in Los Angeles, or is there some sort of Dodgers-Rockies consolation series we might get instead?

Because baseball coverage is regionalized, I was genuinely surprised when the Dodgers were eliminated that we actually saw another game. I figured we’d probably still have to watch some sort of Dodger activity--like Eric Karros washing his car or Mike Piazza on the set of “Baywatch.”
Of course, I’m not saying we wouldn’t get the occasional cut-in of some amazing home run tying the league championship in the ninth.

Will somebody please save the Baseball Network? At least that way I’ll have a fighting chance to be in one of the three regions that will be lucky enough to not have Brent Musburger as the announcer.
