Dan Lachman of Corona del Mar teamed with Jim Black from Oceanside to defeat Pier Hermans and Eric Stuurman of the Netherlands, 6-3, 6-2, and advance to the doubles quarterfinals of the U.S. Open Wheelchair Tennis Championships in Irvine.
Ricky Molier of the Netherlands teamed with Martin Legnerm of Austria, defeating San Clemente’s Brad Parks and Tim Ambler of Ventura, 6-3, 6-2.
