Idaho Theater for Youth, a traveling theater troupe, will make a stop in Ojai for its staging of “Moby Dick, A Rollicking Sea Adventure” at the Oak Grove School Pavilion. With the help of playwright Mark Rosenwinkel, the company has adapted the classic Herman Melville novel into an energetic stage play that combines ballads, original songs and live sound effects. The production, with four actors in period costume, tells the story of Ishmael’s search for adventure, his battles with Captain Ahab and the climactic confrontation with the great whale. The theater is at 220 W. Lomita Ave. Show time: 3 p.m. Tickets: advance $6, $4 children; $1 more at the door. Information: 646-8236.
