Fillmore 27, Maranatha 3--James Cummings rushed for 142 yards in five carries, including touchdown runs of 57 and 80 yards, in the first half at Fillmore to carry the Flashes (3-2) to their third consecutive victory.
Cummings suffered a head injury early in the second half and did not play the rest of the game. Tim Pillado carried the load in the second half by rushing 13 times for 76 yards and a touchdown.
Fillmore’s defense limited the Minutemen (0-5) to 57 yards rushing and 55 passing.
