Magnitude 3.7 Aftershock Jolts Valleys

A magnitude 3.7 aftershock of the Northridge earthquake occurred at 9:42 a.m. Thursday and was centered three miles southeast of Simi Valley on the western side of the aftershock zone, Caltech seismologists reported.
The quake, felt distinctly in the San Fernando and Simi valleys, caused no damage or injuries.
