Hart 58, Palmdale 7--Steve McKeon completed 12 of 19 passes for 223 yards and Ted Iacenda, shaking off a foot injury, rushed for 138 yards and three touchdowns, all in the first half, for the Indians at Palmdale.
The Indians (4-1) gained 534 total yards while Hart’s defense held Palmdale (1-3) to 106 yards, 28 rushing.
Iacenda’s 62-yard up-the-gut touchdown run was the first of Hart’s 37 first-half points.
Iacenda also caught four passes for 61 yards. Josh Caine replaced Iacenda early in the third quarter and scored two touchdowns, gaining 37 yards in six carries.
McKeon, who was eight for 12 for 175 yards in the first half, threw for two touchdown passes, including a 53-yarder to J.B. Nelson and a 14-yarder to Kevin McLaughlin, who also kicked a 42-yard field goal and seven extra points.
Palmdale quarterback Grant Livermont threw for 78 yards.
