Westside : RUSH! IS ON
Tired of clogged city streets and a dearth of parking spaces? Westside drivers can now leave their cars at home and jump on a new shuttle service for Century City, Brentwood, Palms, Beverly Hills and West Hollywood.
The RUSH! shuttles, funded by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority, will be launched today with free shuttle rides in Century City. The fleet of 16-passenger mini-buses will begin full service Oct. 2, providing transportation from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on weekdays in several Westside communities.
The shuttles are scheduled to run every 20 minutes from Century City during the peak commuter hours of 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., serving Brentwood, Palms and West Hollywood. Off-peak routes will serve Beverly Hills and Westwood. Daily fares will range from 50 cents to $1.50.
