A former executive of the Sambo’s restaurant chain is co-owner of a new self-help legal document service that has opened in Ventura.
The service, called We The People, is owned and operated by Bill Wagner Jr., a former vice president in Sambo’s real estate division, and his wife, Carol.
The new office is the second Ventura County unit of a nationally franchised document preparation service that was started in 1985. We The People, based in Santa Barbara, also has a branch in Thousand Oaks.
Bill Wagner has also served as vice president of residential lending at County Savings Bank.
Carol Wagner has previously worked as manager of the Santa Barbara office of First Nationwide Bank. She also was chief executive of a restaurant concern.
