COUNTYWIDE : Panel to Discuss Plan for Special Education
- Share via
A five-year plan for spending state and federal funds for special education students in the county’s 22 school districts will come before the Ventura County Board of Education on Monday.
The Special Education Local Plan Area (SELPA) will receive its first reading at the board’s regular meeting, scheduled to start at 6 p.m. in the Verdugo Room at the county schools office in Camarillo.
Local school districts depend on SELPA to outline their special-education programs for 1995-1999, said Superintendent of Schools Charles Weis.
Trustees will also discuss the county schools office’s travel and conference policy. Board President Wendy Larner asked for a discussion on the policy, Weis said.
