An Angler Laments Rod That Got Away

The catfish are biting at Irvine Lake, and one of them is dragging around a $195 rod-reel combination.
According to a spokesman at the lake, an angler named David Wright forgot to hold onto his rod when a “huge catfish” struck.
Using another rod, however, Wright got some revenge. He landed a 10 1/4 pounder.
