St. Bonaventure 35, Paraclete 20--Topolitzin Sanchez rushed for 171 yards and a touchdown in 22 carries to lead the Seraphs at Antelope Valley College.
Sanchez was helped by his younger brother, Teohua, who completed 14 of 23 passes for 127 yards and three touchdowns. The Seraphs scored 21 unanswered points in the second half to seal the victory.
Paraclete took a 20-14 lead at the half behind quarterback Ben Joyce, who capped off his team’s scoring with a seven-yard touchdown pass Vinny Pagan. Joyce completed 10 of 21 passes for 106 yards and a touchdown. He threw two interceptions in the game.
