OUTLOOK
Hinman hasn’t experienced much good fortune in his first three seasons with the Saints, and the situation probably won’t improve much this season. Lack of quality depth and inexperience at quarterback are Hinman’s biggest concerns. Martinez has impressed at times, but he is slight of build and prone to the typical errors of maturing quarterbacks. Whoever leads the offense must get the ball to Rodriguez, a two-time all-league selection. Rodriguez has caught 61 passes for 1,026 yards and 13 touchdowns in his career. He is one of the league’s fastest receivers and makes tough catches. Caliz and Esparza are all-league defenders.
