Day for Night (Bravo late Sunday at midnight; Monday at 1 p.m.) is about the making of a fragile little romantic comedy named “Meet Pamela,” a film whose backstage machinations are more fascinating than its plot. This film-within-a-film becomes a Valentine to the classical era of the studio movie. Made in 1973 by Francois Truffaut as an homage to everything he loved--transient, fleeting, tender--in the cinema.
