Fullerton’s Noe in Second Place in Junior Golf
Terry Noe of Fullerton shot a four-under 68 Wednesday in the second round of the American Junior Golf Assn.’s Ashworth-Golfweek Aviara junior tournament in Carlsbad.
Noe has a 140 total after two rounds and trails Ben Curtis of Ostrander, Ohio, who is at 139 after a 71.
Jeffrey McGraw, also of Fullerton, shot a 71 (144) on the 6,886-yard Aviara Golf Club course.
In the girls’ tournament, Julia Allison of Santa Ana shot a 74 for a two-round total of 153 on the 5,887-yard course. Nicole Dalkas of Palm Desert is the leader at 149. Yon Yim of Irvine has a 155 total after a 77.
