Accident Victim Is Put in Morgue by Mistake

PARKERSBURG, W. Va. — A 64-year-old woman hit by a tractor-trailer was mistakenly put in a morgue.
Mildred Greathouse was in critical condition Saturday at Camden-Clark Hospital, a nursing supervisor said. She lost both of her legs in the Friday accident.
Wood County Coroner Charles Barnett said he arrived at the hospital after Greathouse had been put in the hospital’s morgue. When her body was brought back to a trauma unit for examination, Barnett noticed she was breathing.
