Clintons’ Legal Bills Grow to $2.1 Million

WASHINGTON — President and Mrs. Clinton have run up legal bills of about $2.1 million to respond to allegations in the Whitewater land deal and a sexual harrassment charge against him when he was a governor, the trustees of their legal expense fund reported Friday.
The Presidential Legal Trust Fund said that they have raised a total of $865,871 since the fund was started June 28, 1994, have paid out a total of $491,134 in bills and have $1,610,455 in outstanding bills remaining.
