Sign of Civic Progress: Lights That Don’t Light
* First they want to take our guns, then they take our light!
I live in a corner house in Van Nuys. Until a few days ago, the three street lights at my intersection lit up the streets and my property nicely. Then the Bureau of Street Lighting decided to install those awful yellow, make-you-look-like-a-corpse, supposedly energy-saving bulbs. Now I can’t see across the street. Thanks again to bureaucratic involvement, crime has a better advantage.
Maybe I’ll get lucky and the criminals will miss my house; too dark to see!
