PORT HUENEME : Work Will Raise Waterline Pressure
Work on waterlines to increase water pressure has begun in Port Hueneme.
Lines will be replaced at Pearl Street, Willowbrook Drive, Surfside Drive and the alley between Ann Avenue and Surfside Drive behind Port Hueneme Road, officials said. The project is expected to be completed by Aug. 25.
Water will be turned off periodically throughout the project, but residents will be notified of shut-offs 48 hours in advance, said Doug Breeze, city public works manager.
