Sell Off Monstrous Civic Arts Plaza
* The Thousand Oaks Community Budget Task Force has determined that taxpayers should not have to bear the burden for more police and other services.
The task force’s answer is to sell the city’s water company to the California Water Co., where residents pay 36% more for their water than T.O. residents pay. And this is supposed to make taxpayers better off!
I hope that nobody will take this seriously. If there is a need to sell city property, I suggest that they consider selling the Civic Arts Plaza. I doubt that they could get 50 cents on the dollar for that monstrosity.
