Spectrum Business Systems Inc.: The Laguna Niguel company, which provides long-distance service to fund-raising organizations, has signed a letter of intent to be acquired by Atlanta-based Global Telemedia International Inc. Spectrum, which has a national sales force of 38 independent representatives, has annual sales of $2.5 million.

The company’s clients include the Endangered Species Fund, the Purple Heart Foundation, and more than 40 Christian organizations. Global Telemedia is a telecommunications marketing company that provides discounted long distance services, prepaid calling cards and nationwide pager systems.
