World Bank OKs $210 Million for Waterways: The bank said it has approved the loan to support the reconstruction of inland waterways in China’s Zheijiang, Hunan and Guangxi provinces. The bank said rehabilitation of the waterways would provide relief from transport bottlenecks and provide a much-needed source of hydroelectric power to some of the country’s poorest areas.
