Health Care Merger Vote: Homedco Group Inc. and Abbey Healthcare Group Inc. will ask their shareholders to approve a merger of the two companies at annual meetings Tuesday. The merger would create the nation’s largest provider of home health care services, with $1.1 billion in combined annual revenue and a 7% market share. So far, the plan has provoked few protests, and the companies said they have cleared federal antitrust regulations. Homedco will hold its annual meeting at 10 a.m. at the Four Seasons Hotel in Newport Beach. Costa Mesa-based Abbey will meet at 10 a.m. at its headquarters at 3560 Hyland Ave.
