HOLLYWOOD : Gunman in Car Kills Alleged Gang Member

A 21-year-old alleged gang member was shot and killed over the weekend in front of a Hollywood apartment building in a location known for drug sales, police said.
Erwin Orla of Hollywood was shot once in the head by a gunman in a black car at 2:15 a.m. Sunday, said Los Angeles Police Detective Andrew Purdy.
Three Latino men in the car stopped in front of Orla in the 1800 block of North Wilcox Avenue, Purdy said. Orla walked up to the passenger side of the car, bent down to speak to the occupants and was shot. The suspects drove away and are still at large, Purdy said.
Orla was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
