Brea Olinda 1, Perris 0--Brea Olinda (17-9) got only two hits, but John Stoddard’s two-out home run in the first inning was enough for Aaron Hough, who gave up four hits and struck out three.
Magnolia 1, San Gabriel 0--Josh Reding struck out 10, gave up only one hit and also doubled to drive in Ryan Hieman from second for the game’s only run. Magnolia is 15-7.
Riverside Arlington 11, Valencia 0--Steve Madril limited Valencia to four hits over six innings, striking out five as the Vikings (11-12) were eliminated from the playoffs.
Sonora 6, Servite 1--Ryan Owens had two hits and two RBIs for Sonora (20-4-2). Chris Anderson added two hits and three RBIs. Junior Rodriguez picked up his eighth victory, striking out seven. He hit his third home run of the season.
