Ties With China Strengthened: Trade and economic relations have been boosted by the visit last week of South Korean Prime Minister Lee Hong Koo, the China Daily reported. It said China is now South Korea’s third-largest trading partner, while South Korea is China’s sixth-largest partner. Bilateral trade rose 70% during the first two months of the year to almost $1.8 billion.
