BEVERLY HILLS : Police Seek Man in Stabbing of 2 Women
- Share via
A 27-year-old man is being sought by Beverly Hills police for allegedly stabbing the mother of his two children and a friend of hers with a kitchen knife over the weekend.
Police refused to identify the suspect, but said they have issued a warrant for his arrest on suspicion of two counts of assault with a deadly weapon in the Sunday afternoon attack.
Although both of the women were stabbed several times, neither suffered life-threatening injuries in the assault, according to police Lt. Frank Salcido. The children, a 7-year-old girl and a 1-year-old boy, were not hurt, Salcido said.
Police said the 2 p.m. attack may have occurred because the man was distraught that the relationship with his former girlfriend had ended.
The attack occurred when the man returned his two children to their mother at her apartment in the 400 block of South Maple Drive.
