University Wins With No-Hitter

IRVINE — Tim Blackburn pitched a no-hitter, defeating Laguna Hills, 6-0, as University clinched a share of the Pacific Coast League title.
Blackburn (6-5), a senior, struck out 12 and walked three for the Trojans (15-10, 10-4), and had three hits and two RBIs.
University can win the title outright with a victory in a rematch Thursday at Laguna Hills (14-10, 9-5).
