Plane Skids Into Mud

CHICAGO — A cargo plane skidded off the runway at O’Hare International Airport on landing and became stuck in the mud early Saturday, aviation officials said.
There were no injuries and no serious damage to the Emory Worldwide DC-8, Aviation Department spokeswoman Lisa Howard said. The Federal Aviation Administration said the plane appeared to have blown tires upon landing.
