Bobby Schwartz of Costa Mesa won the four-lap scratch main event in front of 3,512 in the weekly speedway motorcycle program at the Orange County Fairgrounds.
Shawn McConnell of Brea was second, Brad Oxley of San Juan Capistrano third and Charlie Venegas of San Bernardino fourth.
Oxley won the eight-lap handicap main event. Gary Ackroyd of Newport Beach was second, Jesse Finch of Garden Grove third, Randy Evans from Anaheim fourth and McConnell fifth. . . .
