Donations Sought for Bomb Victims
The Ventura County Board of Supervisors is encouraging county employees to donate blood or money to assist those in need in Oklahoma City following last week’s bombing.
Employees wishing to give blood may contact United Blood Services at 654-8104 to make an appointment. The company has offices in Ventura, Simi Valley and Thousand Oaks.
The American Red Cross is also accepting donations. Checks can be sent to American Red Cross, Oklahoma City Explosion, P.O. Box 5850, Ventura, Calif., 93005.
