DreamWorks SKG Investment Confirmed: As expected, a company affiliated with the huge South Korean conglomerate Samsung Corp. said it will buy 11.1% of the new studio for $300 million pending government approval. Cheil Foods & Chemicals Inc. of Seoul, described in a press release as a “founding company” of Samsung, said it will invest in DreamWorks through a unit called One World Media Corp. DreamWorks plans an ambitious slate of movies, albums, television programs and interactive software.
