Among the more than 20 bands expected to perform are Western-swing band Asleep at the Wheel, which has earned 16 Grammy nominations, and a Ventura County band called Fender Benders, which integrates country music with rock and blues roots.
Other performers will include Native Vibe, which blends contemporary jazz, African rhythms and Caribbean flavors, and Susi Hanse, a violinist who plays music from salsa to Latin jazz.
Admission fees for the festival, which will be held at College Park, will be $6 for adults and $4 for seniors and children ages 2 to 12.
