Ruth E. Corsen; Longtime Resident of Ojai

Longtime Ojai resident Ruth E. Corsen has died after a lengthy illness. She was 91.
A homemaker and former secretary, Corsen lived in Ojai for 21 years. She was born in Springfield, Ill., and later moved to Playa del Rey before settling in the Ojai Valley. She died Saturday at a local convalescent home.
She is survived by her daughter, Arlene Volaski of Ojai, five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Corsen’s husband, Henry, preceded her in death by several years.
Arrangements are under the direction of Clausen Funeral Home in Ojai.
