LOS ANGELES : Robbery Suspect Arrested Aboard Bus Downtown
Metropolitan Transportation Authority police surrounded a bus Downtown on Thursday night and arrested a man on suspicion of committing a robbery in Burbank.
The incident occurred about 5 p.m. in front of City Hall. At one point, police officers ordered everyone off the bus at gunpoint.
“We had information that a robbery was committed in Burbank, and that the suspect boarded the bus there,†MTA spokesman Rick Jager said.
