In other Orange Empire Conference baseball games:

Rancho Santiago 10, Fullerton 5--Ryan Fullerton went three for five with six RBIs, including two singles and a three-run homer, and Toby Sanchez went two for four with two doubles, three runs scored and an RBI for Rancho Santiago (17-8, 5-6).

Saddleback 6, Riverside 3--Sam Voita’s three-run homer in the fifth inning put Saddleback (12-11, 5-6) ahead for good. Pat Antrim was three for five and stole five bases.

In the Orange County men’s track and field classic:

Fullerton 128, Saddleback 98, Rancho Santiago 91--Fullerton’s Steve Correa crossed the line in 10.95 and won the 100-meter sprint by three-one hundredths of a second over Mike Norris of Saddleback. Steve Gonzales of Orange Coast won the shot put with a throw of 43-10 1/2 and the discus with 150-6.

In the Orange County women’s track and field classic:

Fullerton 139, Orange Coast 84, Rancho Santiago 82--Monica Holguin won the 100-meter sprint in 16.42 and the long jump with a distance of 16-3 to lead Fullerton.
