Kofax Scanning Software: Kofax Image Products in Irvine has introduced software for scanning up to 30,000 pages of printed text a day, turning the material into computer code.
Prices for the use of the software begin at $8,000.
Founded in 1985, privately held Kofax has about 110 employees at its Irvine headquarters.
